The Pk Coin is one of the effects we're proudest of.
Just imagine an ordinary .50 piece, one that can be readily handed out for inspection, that will do a ghostly roll over in your hand, or a spectator's hand at your command!
You have to see the video to believe it! One side literally levitates up, as slowly as you'd like, and then rolls in the palm of your hand!
There is absolutely NOTHING that can be detected in how this is done, and, as long as you're setup for PK, the coin is COMPLETLY self working and SELF CONTAINED. You have only to throw the coin in your pocket and you're ready to go. Nothing is attached to it; no setup is required. This may be the strongest effect that you can literally "practice today, and perform tonight."
The coin comes with a booklet of effects which has grown over the years, and several well known magic writers have promised future books on the subject including "100 Tricks with a PK Coin" by Don Drake.
When you see the video, I'm sure you'll agree, the possibilities are endless.
Since this text is to serve as a review, I want to mention the only drawbacks I can think of:
One minor drawback is that the PK coin should be considered an accessory to the PK KIT. (You need to be setup for PK which of course doesn't take much) and the other is a real oddity! Even though the PK coin is a REAL .50 cent piece, it tends to tarnish about every 6 months which is somehow be related to the delicate machine work that went into making it. When it does tarnish, a dab of toothpaste and a quick scrub will restore it in moments.
