Make It Snow (12MB WVM)
This was Produced in Nov. 2005 at the Riverside Plaza for and by Charter Media.
I was the producer/director on the project.  The reason you find it here is for the animated snow I added in post.
It was shot on the Sony HDV Z1U with a couple Arri light kits and a lot of help from the cast and crew.
All editing and post work was done on Sony's Vegas 6.0.
Santa is just about the nicest guy you can find.  If you're looking for a Real Santa, I highly recommend him.
Grandpa (Ed) and Grandson (Michael) were booked through Brand Model and Talent Agency.
The spot airs on Charter Communications.

The Make Up (12Mb WVM)

Shot December 8 between 6pm to 10:30pm and edited Dec. 12-13, this spot was something of a rush job.
Still, the talent (Amanda and Grant from Brand Model and Talent Agency) did a great job and the results pleased the client.
Of couse, this wouldn't have been complete with a cameo from Santa.
Lighting was just one step above "run and gun."  We set up simple lighting and let our Z1U do most of the work.
Of course, this was heavly color corrected in Vegas to get the colours to be a bit more rich and film-like.
The spot airs on Charter Communications.

Top Choice Mortgage

Chains (12MB WMV)
Produced in Aug. 2005, this spot was a serious challenge.  I mean, getting my two actors to PULL A HOUSE!  How crazy is that.
Shot for and produced by Charter Media, the editng, post production and special effects were done here at MVP.
Once again, talent was hired through the good folk at Brand Model and Talent Agency.
Also shot on the Sony Z1U, all post was done on Sony's Vegas 6.0.  Specials effects were done in NewTek's Lightwave.
The spot airs on Charter Communications.

City of Rancho Cucamonga

E-Waste (12MB WMV)
This was another fun spot where I got to use my animation skills.  Shot "on location" in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, this was largely conceived by the clients.  They knew they wanted to promote folk bringing in their electronic waste and wanted to do it in a humerous way.  So we brainstormed and came up with what you see.
All the basics from above still apply for the equipment used, post production and talent agency.  You might even recognize the lead from "Chains," who continues his roll as a man who has house-hold problems.  The only thing added to the mix here is for the sparks and smoke, I used Particle Illusion 3 by Wondertouch.
The spot airs on Charter Communications.
